What is the procedure for obtaining an Applebees Golden Apple Card?

In 2012, Applebee’s Golden Apple card was phased out. The Golden Apple card was a senior discount programme offered only to older citizens by the restaurant. Although Applebees no longer distributes the Golden Apple card, some locations still give seniors who show their AARP cards discounts.

Several other restaurant brands continue to give older citizens discounts. With the exception of alcoholic beverages, Outback Steakhouse offers AARP members a 15% discount on their whole bill when they present their cards. Carabba’s Italian Grill gives you a 20% discount on your bill. Both Chili’s and IHOP give a 10% discount.

Although not all restaurants provide special discounts for seniors, it is relatively uncommon for a senior menu to be available. Smaller versions of dishes from the normal menu are frequently given at lower prices on these menus. Many fast food franchises, in addition to sit-down restaurants, provide senior discounts or reduced-cost menu selections.

AARP membership is open to those aged 50 and up, while some eateries provide discounts to those aged 55 and up. A fee is charged for AARP membership. Members get savings on travel, as well as goods and services offered by numerous businesses, in addition to restaurant discounts.
