Then, under the Owner’s Support section, click the Warranty & Registration option. Click the Information on Locating Your Product’s Serial Number Can Be Found Here link at the bottom of the Warranty & Registration Web page.
Locate the serial number of a thermostat, air handler, energy recovery ventilator, humidifier, or air conditioner using the provided. Location information for indoor coils, heat pumps, air cleaners, and packaged units is also accessible. A diagram of the product is included, as well as a description of where the serial number may be found.
A packed unit’s serial number can be located on the back panel. Serial numbers can be found on the top, right rear area of air conditioners and heat pumps. Serial numbers can be seen on either the right or left panel of a furnace. The front panel of indoor coil units and air handlers has serial numbers.
