What Is a Christian Cross’s Proportions?

The horizontal crosspiece separates the vertical bar of a classic Christian cross, with one-third of the bar above the crosspiece and two-thirds below. Furthermore, the cross piece’s left and right sides, as well as the top half of the vertical bar, are all the same size.

Other Christian crosses, such as those from earlier ages or from Eastern Orthodox groups, have a crosspiece and vertical bar that meet in the middle of both lines.
