What Days Do You Consider Weekends?

The workweek runs Monday through Friday in most Western countries, with Saturday and Sunday designated weekends. The majority of people regard Friday evening to be part of the weekend as well.

The current concept of the weekend is derived from the Jewish Sabbath. Sunday is a day set aside for worship and repose in several Christian religions.
