Rosa Parks was an enthusiastic member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and enjoyed attending church with her family. She was also homeschooled and participated in a number of vocational and educational programmes.

Rosa Parks spent her childhood on her grandparents’ farm, which impacted a variety of her interests and pastimes. She didn’t start going to school until she was eleven years old.
