Wang usually takes off his top when it’s too hot. But, instead of cooling things down, he just can’t get any hotter with his top off.

So who is this fruit and veggies seller in real life?

According to Apple Daily, Wang, now 20, works four days a week at the fruit and veggies stand in the market to help a childhood friend. He usually helps in stocking fruits in the store, and he has been working there for 6 months already.

However, when he doesn’t work in the market, he is a model for Catwalk Modeling Taiwan.

His English name as a model is “Wish”, and he even has a Facebook Fan Page.

Wang says he has learned a lot from his part-time job helping out his friend’s fruits and vegetable store, which is actually totally different from his life as a model.

And although he’s hot, Ms.Chan, the store owner, says there were no dramatic increase in sales as her store has always been doing well.

Now, we just wonder, is this just a publicity stint for his modelling agency, just like the rumors about the bean curd seller (which they denied)?

Many homeopaths have reported seeing this happen to their homosexual patients, that after a treatment for a problem like a headache they reported that their former sexual orientation changed from being homosexual to healthy heterosexual. -Hydrogen2Oxygen

An alternative science blogsite, Hydrogen2Oxygen, claims that homeopaths reported acupuncture as a ‘cure’ to homosexuality. They said that their homosexual patients changed their sexual orientation “from a homosexual to a healthy heterosexual”.

As odd as it may seem, this alternative science blogsite says that despite the majority’s claim that homosexuality is not an illness, this “majority” is actually misinformed. One of the points the article stated is that the idea of homosexuality is a product of a motivation to reduce the Earth’s population, which is a kind of a “coward birth control”. The article also stated that homosexuality is a result of the life flow taking the “wrong direction”.

How acupuncture cures homosexuality

In reference to their claim that homosexuality is a result of a “blockage in the first and second chakra”, acupuncture, which is a homeopathic remedy and is applied for “secondary problems” can change one’s sexual orientation to a healthy state of being heterosexual.

Homeopathy can help if applied individually. There is no pill against homosexuality, but if a man or woman is aware of his unnatural state and aware that this is indeed a illness that can be cured, then homeopathy can be used to cure the trauma which lead to this state and from this point on it should be only the case of a free choice if one is willed to continue with the perversion or if one is willed to change his personality.

Can acupuncture really cure homosexuality?

Although Hydrogen2Oxygen is an alternative science blogsite, the article on homosexuality and acupuncture did not have any studies to back up their claim. In addition, the website also has a disclaimer which says, “You must not rely on the information on this website as an alternative to medical advice from your doctor or other professional healthcare provider”. 

Although it is a fact that homosexuality used to be considered a psychological disorder until 1974, the University of California, Davis Department of Psychology states for a fact that “empirical evidence and professional norms do not support the idea that homosexuality is a form of mental illness or is inherently linked to psychopathology”.

Therefore, homosexuality is not an illness that needs to be cured.

Bagayna shared her story about how she would see Balaga teaching less fortunate children at Divisoria. Despite his clean and presentable apperance, Balaga could be seen sitting on the dirty and crowded streets of the popular shopping district rain or shine. Bagayna described him as the “big brother” type, the one who would sit around reading books to his younger siblings and teaching them the alphabet and colors–very basic lessons that many have taken for granted.

Balaga graduated from Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in education. While he may not have a paid job, he says he finds fulfillment in teaching street children. When she asked where he got his equipment, he said he would get donations such as books, crayons, and other school supplies and sometimes would spend from his own pocket.

“My faith in humanity is a notch higher than it used to,” said Bagayna when she found out Balaga taught purely out the goodness of this heart. No, he was not affiliated with any humanitarian organization nor was he asked to do this. It was simply because he wanted to.

Balaga is not expecting anything in return for his good deed. He merely said additional school supplies and a first-aid kit for the children will suffice should anyone offer him anything.

It’s very remarkable to see such a young man go out of his way to help less fortunate street children. Especially having graduated from a reputable school, it wouldn’t have been tpp difficult for him to find a job, and yet he chooses to sir on the streets of Divisoria. How many more out there are willing to make this kind of commitment?

This is what French photographer Sacha Goldberger tried to achieve in the quirky photo series titled “Super Flamands.” Goldberger took inspiration from his childhood and gave timeless characters such as Iron Man, Spider-man, Darth Vader, and The Hulk a one-of-a-kind makeover as 16th-century Flemish portrait models.

Speaking to Bored Panda, the photographer said: “I have been working on super heroes with my grandmother mamika for the last five years. Three years ago I did a Flemish painting series. This Super Flemish series is the conclusion of five years of work.”

So what’s the best thing about this photo series? The photographer claims none of these were photoshopped. From getting superhero look-alikes to acquiring 16th century costumes, Goldberger’s team made sure everything would look super awesome!

On her account, Telan posted photos of the hands of her less than a month-old nephew who allegedly suffered from IV burn due to mishandling of IV insertion. Telan, whose grandfather suffered the same mishap from the said hospital, also posted photos of her grandfather’s hand.

Telan’s post, which was shared on the gossip site Fashion Pulis, earned various comments from netizens.

One commenter pointed out that both parents and hospital workers are responsible for the patient. Moreover, the commenter encouraged families of patients to report problems to doctors or nurses immediately.

Another registered nurse suggested that the attending nurse should be penalized as it is his or her responsibility to regularly monitor the IV site particularly in newborns.

Netizen Twin Adjani Vine shared in a Facebook post a video of an annoying street kid they chanced upon while eating at Jollibee on June 29. In a short status post and a video she uploaded on the social media page, she left a question for netizens: Would you still give something to this kid who was so impertinent and showed no respect to people?

(If you were in the situation would you still give him food? Oftentimes, some beggars can be so rude.  WOULD YOU STILL HAVE  AN APPETITE ? Sorry, don’t blame us if we didn’t feed the kid, he’s so impolite.)

The post became viral with more than 71,300 views and comments reaching 843 as of this writing. Some netizens said they won’t feel any empathy with the kind of attitude the kid showed. Other street kids, they said, have enough manners to act decently even if they are beggars.  While others agreed with the post, some said it wasn’t right to record the incident.  Other netizens symphatized with the kid, and bashed the uploader of the video.

In one of the messages which apparently originated from Rina Montemayor, it was reported that the brother and sister-in-law of a certain Bob Escanos passed away hours after “ingesting toxin” from McDonald’s Evia along Daang Hari. A second message from Montemayor confirmed that the incident indeed happened.

In the third message sent by an unidentified person, a certain Pj, who was at an unnamed hospital at around 2 a.m., also confirmed that the wife died while in the car while the husband expired at the hospital.

The source of the circulating message has yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, McDonald’s released an official statement, through their PR Agency EON Inc, regarding the incident through e-mail. The fast food giant, which is currently conducting an investigation, said that the information in the series of messages has not been verified by the authorities.
