WATCH: Woman claims popular hotdog brand contains live maggots

A video that has gone viral on social media shows a popular food product may not be safe for consumption. On June 18, netizen M. Evangelista shared on her Facebook account a disgusting video of hotdogs filled with crawling maggots. The uploader of the video claimed that hotdogs were from Purefoods.

In the video, maggots can be seen crawling over the cooked, sliced hotdogs. When the woman in the video cut one the hotdog slice, it exposed more maggots in the meat.

Netizens shared their observations on the video. While some were grossed out and swore not to consume any more hotdogs, most online users, ironically, disproved the authenticity of the video.

RoboCop and Terminator showed off their eloquence in rap battles.

This metalheads’s brawl has long been started few years ago. It began when industry legends Frank Miller and Walt Simonson made a 4 issue comic book miniseries of RoboCop Versus Terminator in 1992.

It followed by a second encounter in Robocop vs. Terminator video game for the Sega Genesis in 1994.

In 2011, the android fever was brought back again in Dynamite Comics’ Terminator/RoboCop: Kill Human Miniseries.

Now RoboCop and Terminator clash faced off and debated of who’s the most metal rapper among them. It’s robotic monotonous voice versus Hanz and Franz accent.

The 3-minute video clip was written by Nice Peter, Zach Sherwin and EpicLLOYD. It’s under the direction of Nice Peter and Mike Betette.

Their sick rhymes and joke-filled verses prove that this is probably one of the funniest rap battle to watch!

WATCH: Mainland tourist fights Japanese tourist who cut in line at a taxi queue in HK

Who would have thought that not taking queuing etiquette seriously would end up in a violent fight?

Apparently, some people in Hong Kong don’t like the idea of cutting taxi lines. Unfortunately one Japanese man wasn’t aware of this.

The incident happened at a taxi stand on Russell Street in Causeway Bay on Saturday evening. Four tourists from mainland China were waiting for a taxi when a Japanese tourist suddenly cut the taxi queue to get into the cab with his wife and child.

An eyewitness named Ho was able to document the fight on video. Initially, the mainland tourist was seen yelling at the Japanese holidaymaker. The Chinese national eventually pushed him prompting a fight to break out. Seven minutes after the fight started, the police arrived at the scene to arrest them for causing a disturbance.

As a result, the Japanese tourist sustained injuries on his neck and hands, while the mainlander’s glasses got broken.

A lot of Pinoys are truly fond of eating weird food, such as eating almost all edible animal c parts—even those that are supposed to be discarded for health and safety reasons. We’re talking gizzards, intestines, hearts, livers, necks, and feet (called offal in food circles).

Aside from enjoying o, many Pinoys also love eating yucky Ω u items like worms/larva, frogs, crickets, and even moldy items such as cheese and a Benguet delicacy called “lepeg” made from moldy rice. Yep, we really are weird!

In an episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, some of these “kadiri” food items are discussed in detail, including how these are prepared and cooked.

Some of these food items are products of the Filipino’s ingenuity.

Made from fertilized duck egg, balut is a staple in the streets of the Philippines. It is a favorite among many Pinoys, especially the men who believe this i is an aphrodisiac.

VIDEO: LeBron James’s ‘Junior’ caught on camera

ABC accidentally covered more than just the playoffs between Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors last Thursday. They also caught LeBron James’s privates on camera.

While James was adjusting his shorts during the team huddle, the camera inadvertently got a peek of what was underneath his uniform.

It was only for a few seconds, but it was caught on live TV, for 18.5 million viewers to see.

Unfortunately, the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to Golden State Warriors at 82-103 that night. And now James has the dubious distinction of making it to the list of celebrities whose privates have been exposed to the public like Channing Tatum, Chris Brown and Kanye West.

The “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” dance craze has been taking the world by storm. With thousands of people uploading their version of the dance, “whip /nae nae” is like the “Macarena” or “Gangnam Style” of 2015. Nae nae which was create in 2013 by the hiphop group “We are Toonz”, is a dance step inspired by the character Janene Jenkins from the comedy series Martin in the ’90s. “Whip”, on the other hand, became a famous dance step when the US National Football League (NFL) players would “whip” after a touchdown. But, “whip” and “nae nae” has gone more than just viral worldwide. Silento’s song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” actually has a combination of dance steps which includes the “nae nae”, “whip”, “superman” and “stanky leg”.

Currently, “Watch Me” is in the 15th spot on the US Billboard and already has almost 40 million views on YouTube.

Almost everyone has their own version of this dance, and The Dailypedia found one that would also make you dance to the “whip/nae nae”. The video was uploaded by Facebook user Kris T. and was filmed in one of the streets in Manila. They enjoy dancing so much that they don’t mind the rain or the passers-by.

If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, watching Johanna Colon’s epic dance performance of Aretha Franklin’s iconic hit song “Respect” may turn your bad day around in an instant.

Colon’s mother Elissa had no idea that the video of her daughter’s dance recital she posted on Facebook last Sunday would go viral. Initially, she thought of sharing it with their family and friends in New York but the six-year-old girl’s dance recital video in Knightdale, North Carolina quickly exploded on the Internet getting over 20 million views on Facebook.

“I posted it for family and friends because we’re originally from New York, and I did not expect it to take off like this. We told Johanna about it, and she’s excited, but she really doesn’t totally understand. She was more excited that she had her last day of school and that she got ice cream for having a great report card,” Elissa told Today.

Johanna has been taking dance lessons since she was two years old at Heather’s Dance Inc. After weeks of practice with her classmates, the young aspiring dancer received a standing ovation from a crowd of more than 400 people.

The spunky dancer’s sassy performance has also captured the attention of the people behind The Ellen DeGeneres show as her video was posted on the show’s Facebook page on Wednesday, June 10. We’re hoping to see Johanna do her moves on Ellen’s talk show.

A family claims their daughter was attacked and killed by an aswang in Braulio Dujali, Davao del Norte last May 26, 2015.

According to GMA News, the girl named Holy Grace Buot, 10, had several bites on her head, neck, and back which the family believes were caused by an “aswang” attack.

Buot’s grandmother, Nenita Cruda said it was different from a usual animal attack as she had many bites and injuries.

Aswang talaga yun… Marami kasi siyang sugat, dito, dito, at sa likod. Hayop? Iba talaga ito…

(It really is an aswang. She had many bites, even on her back. [You think it’s an] Animal? This is totally different.)

Buot’s father found her dead when they were about to wake her up at 6 A.M. They noticed she was no longer breathing.

Police claims it may have been a snake bite

Senior Inspector Irish Parangan was careful not to conclude any speculations about Buot’s death. Parangan stated it may have been caused by an animal bite.

Sa amin, hindi kami magko-conclude pero hayop yun. Maaaring ahas o banakon (king cobra). Tinanggal namin ang anggulong aswang, hindi talaga yun aswang.

(We do not want to conclude, but [we think] it was caused by an animal. It may have been a snake or a king cobra. We have ruled out the possibility of an aswang attack.)

Mayor Moral appeals to the public

Mayor Lolita Moral of Dujali said that there has not been any reported case of an aswang attack and appeals to the public not to believe in such stories.

Dito rin sa amin, wala pa akong naririnig na may aswang. Wala pa talang ganyan dito sa Dujali. Pero hindi rin ako naniniwala. Mas naniniwala pa ako na ahas o banakon (king cobra) ang cause of death kesa sa aswang.

(I have never heard of any “aswang attacks”. I don’t believe it either. I am more convinced the bites were caused by a king cobra snake rather than an aswang.)

VIDEO: Comedian Arnell Ignacio gets engaged to singer Ken Psalmer

In recent years, same sex relationships are now slowly being accepted by Philippine society, especially among celebrities. Last year, singer-actress Aiza Seguerra married theater actress Liza Dino. And recently, another celebrity made news by a surprise proposal to his singer-boyfriend.

Former game show icon, comedian, and now talent manager, Arnell Ignacio proposed to his singer-boyfriend Ken Psalmer. The proposal was set after the wedding of the couple’s friends at the Diamond Hotel, which according to their friends, was a very touching moment for everyone who witnessed it. Even the crew and staff of the hotel paused to witness their special moment.

The surprise proposal started with renowned musician Jay Cayuca playing the violin to the couple. According to Abante, Arnell said the sweetest lines to Ken and buckled while delivering them because of his nervousness. However, he was able to get down on one knee and put the engagement ring on Ken, for what their friends describe as a successful proposal. After Arnell put the ring on Ken, he also presented another ring, which Ken put on Arnell. The couple wore a matching engagement-promise ring. Both Arnell and Ken were teary-eyed. The proposal happened on June 3, 2015.

I have seen the rainbow for so many times…but I only realized that rainbows have colors when I met you. I immeasurably love you Ken Psalmer!

LISTEN: Mysterious ‘Trumpet Sound from the Sky’ Heard in Lobo, Batangas

Facebook user Vincent Andy Magnaye posted a video clip featuring mysterious sounds apparently heard in Lobo, Batangas on Thursday, June 4.

In the video, strange noises resembling the sound of a trumpet can be heard. Magnaye also observed that the birds flew away upon hearing the peculiar sound.

According to Magnaye, the video was recorded at around 3:00 pm just before the rain started.

Magnaye and the people who heard the “trumpet sound” weren’t able to identify where the strange noises came from.

With over 200,000 views and more than 7,000 shares on Facebook as of this writing, Magnaye’s controversial video quickly made rounds on the Internet. Several netizens who saw the video said that the sound heard in Magnaye’s video is a sign of the second coming of Christ.

In Matthew 24:31, it is written: ”And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”

Similar incidents happened in other parts of the world

Upon conducting research on the Internet, Magnaye learned that similar incidents have occurred in other parts of the world including Germany, Canada, Australia, and the US.

Although similar videos have emerged in the past few years, many of these were discovered to be hoaxes. Netizen Dianne Chelsey pointed out that the audio in Magnaye’s video appears to be fake as it sounds similar to the videos uploaded on YouTube.

NASA: Strange noises could be the Earth’s background noise

While there is still no clear explanation for the strange noises heard in different parts of the world, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) offered a possible reason for the strange phenomenon.

According to NASA, the Earth emits “background noise” or natural radio emissions that scientists refer to as “tweeks”, “sferics”, and “whistlers”.

In a statement, NASA said: “They sound like background music from a flamboyant science fiction film, but this is not science fiction. Earth’s natural radio emissions are real and, although we’re mostly unaware of them, they are around us all the time.”
