Netizen says server spilled hot coffee on her child at SM Prestige Lounge in SM Southmall

Netizen Adelynne Tuliao-Valenciano posted her outrage over the disservice she experienced at SM Prestige Lounge in SM Southmall.

After a day of shopping, Valenciano decided to rest in the lounge together with her 11-month-old son. When the waitress served her her usual cup of hot coffee, Valenciano was outraged upon seeing the coffee spill on the belly of her son. Valenciano was angered by the fact that the server still placed the cup near the child.

Valenciano tried to remedy her son’s pain by quickly changing his clothes, but the damage was already done. The lounge manager at the time responded by taking the child to the mall nurse who gave them burn ointment.

Naturally, Valenciano demanded for an explanation about the incident, but only got a “We will investigate on the matter” response from the manager.

The management has yet to comment on the matter.
